Are you crazy? I definately am, or so I've been told a few times. Ajukreizi is domain I've owned for many years and never taken use of, but I decided to finally put it up with a friend of mine.

We use the name ajukreizi to showcase a few projects we've done together, me doing everything design and him hacking the code. The few projects we've done, turned out quite well, and we thought why not continue and make a little name for ourselves.

Once in a while I find myself sitting around and just letting my mind run off in work related things. When something strikes me to get improved, I usually try to mockup up something to show my idea.

This night back in 2011, I felt the OSX installers at Native-Instruments were not quite attractive enough, or living up to the standard we try to up hold.

The brand graphics and so on are not from me, but I used them to compose my concept based on how our current installers are. These are accompanied by some simple branding on the media and new icons for the files themselves.

This site was done for a danish fastfood restaurant, located in the city center of Copenhagen. They needed something simple and within a limited budget. But otherwise I had free hands in terms of style and inspiration, aslong as it was in line with the food they made.

Since the food is inspired by parts of african food, I tried to grab the roots from it and bring to a more modern look with a simple typography.

I had one of these nights, where I looked back on some of my work prior to my time at Native Instruments. This always make me realize how bad some of it was, and not nearly precise enough to even use for UI work of any kind.

So with this in mind, I decided to redo my iOS boilerplates for iPhone and iPad due to some requests coming from users finding my previous version on deviantart.

These files are meant for creating backgrounds inspired for interaction with the content of the UI, such as making dents, outlining, etc for icons.

Sometimes you are blessed by your surroundings, and this project was one of those times. A good friend of mine had a vision for a project and wanted me to take part in it.

In short, this was about creating a record label with the purpose of showcasing the talent we have in the danish music industry through various concepts. First and core concept is to deliver a compilation for free on the web 6 times a year.

The project has now been going on for 6 months and 3 successful, 2 parties and soon one masterclass/workshop later. We can so far consider this sparetime project a massive success in the danish scene.

I am responsible for all art direction on the project, networking with graphic artists for cover creation, networking with DJs for creation on a mix with the 10 tracks each release and overall concept development along with the rest of the group.

The main logo is done by a personal friend of mine Simon Lund.

Random is a club night at one of Copenhagen's finest venues for electronic music. I had the pleasure to provide the graphics for their flyers at the last few club nights they had, before going into hypernation for the time being.

There were not many requirements for the flyers and they would mainly be for online websites, and their own website. So I put a few challenges up for myself to try and achieve different looks through geometry, textures, and pictures. But to keep the overall style of the flyers through the series.

A little group of dedicated people selects and collects mixes from the danish dj-underground. Both emerging and established dj’s are chosen and they provide a mix exclusively for this site. The mix is then presented along with a little biography and an interview with the dj.

All mixes are made especially for them and most of the mixes you will not be able to download anywhere else.

They were in need of a new and improved website with added features to their current Wordpress setup. Along the way, I also put them in touch with a designer for a new logo and I did all the website design and implementation.

Everybody loves a good bargain and feeling like they have made a good deal, and the market in Denmark is no different. We got an assignment from an unknown client, to develop a concept, that would be able to outperform already existing concepts such as downtown.dk and sweetdeal.dk. The idea behind the existing concepts are that customers are able to get half price on selected items and experiences in Denmark. With this in mind, we set out to analyze, interview, develop and design.

From our analysis we could see that what Downtown is doing, they are doing preatty well, since they e.g. have 65.000 subscribers in the first 5 months. We focused at what it is that makes it work, why people like it and found that keeping the concept simple to the user is alpha omega.

Therefore we quickly decided not to move too far away from what Downtown is doing, and therefore keep the “Downtown‐model” as a kind of basic idea of our concept. In addition to this we wanted to try to tweak it in a way that would be even more attractive for both B2C and B2B customers, than Downtown.

During our first iteration we brainstormed on how to apply new things to the basic idea. We focused both on users as well as retailers, and came up with several ideas From this point on we had several iteratons with brainstorm of various kinds e.g. “walk and talk” and circlewriting. It was quite difficult to narrow it all down to a concept that on one hand is just as simple as Downtown’s, and at the same time adds something extra, does something differently, and differently enough that people will choose our concept over Downtown’s.

We ended up deciding to “kill a lot of darlings” in order to keep it simple, and cut to the bone. We also decided to come up with a launching campaign for the concept. We feelt it was just as important as the actual concept, as a good marketing strategy / branding strategy can be vital for the concept.

Early in my education we were pitched to do a one month project for a high profile media company in Denmark. The case was about finding an interesting approach to breaking in a new market, along with creating some media stir in any possible way.

To present our concept, we decided to make a quick and dirty video, it was made fast and have a lot of errors in it, but they all loved it and also our overall concept for their project. I made this video in collaboration with my studygroup at the Copenhagen School of Design and Technology.

This was a project I worked on halfway through my first semester of my E-Concept Development education. It was about creating a e-commerce website for a danish based cycling gear company. They came to our lecturers with a website problem and had a desire to let students try and solve their issues, by proposing a completely new website.

In the project I was in charge of doing all the wireframing, mockups and creating the overall feel of the website. The whole project was done within a week from brief to the final mockups and presentation to the client and our fellow students.

We tried to capture the essence of the cycling sport, an d creating loyalty to the brand through their favorite bikers. The website was never released as they did not have resources to fund the development of the final proposal, but we got great feedback from both lecturers and the client on the project.
